What is Latin Night?

Latin Night at Time Out On Pine is your crew's Thursday plan. Every week at 7PM, the room turns into a full Latin party — salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton — played for real dancing, not background noise.

The night starts with a complimentary salsa lesson, built right into the event and beginner-friendly from the first step. No one in your group needs dance experience. You all start together, pick it up fast, and by the time the lesson wraps, the floor is already moving.

This is the kind of night groups come back to. Birthdays, girls' nights, coworker outings, friend groups finally getting out of the house — Latin Night works for all of it because the structure is already there. The lesson breaks the ice, the music keeps everyone moving, and the vibe does the rest.

Solo? You'll fit right in. Couple? Great date night. Group of 15? RSVP ahead and we'll make room for your crew.

If you've been searching for a Latin night near Huntingdon Valley — or a salsa and bachata night near Philadelphia that doesn't require a city drive — this is it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time does Latin Night start?
Latin Night kicks off every Thursday at 7:00 PM. We start with a complimentary salsa lesson, so arrive on time if you want to learn the basics before the floor opens up.
Are the salsa lessons free?
Yes! The salsa lesson at the start of the night is completely free. No sign-up, no extra cost — just show up and join in.
Do I need a partner to come?
Not at all. Plenty of people come solo. The lesson rotates partners, and the dance floor is social by nature. You'll find people to dance with.
What kind of music do you play?
A mix of salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton, and Latin hits. We keep it varied so there's something for everyone, whether you're here for classic moves or just want to vibe.
Is it beginner-friendly?
Absolutely. The lesson at the start is designed for people who've never danced before. Even after the lesson, the vibe is welcoming — no judgment, just fun.
Is there a cover charge?
Nope. Latin Night is free to attend. Just come through, grab a drink, and hit the floor.
Is it 21+?
Yes, Latin Night is 21+ only. Bring your ID.
Is there free parking?
Yes, we have free parking on-site. No meters, no garages, no stress.
What should I wear?
Whatever you can move in. Some people dress up, some keep it casual. Just make sure your shoes let you dance — no flip-flops.
Can I bring a birthday group to Latin Night?
Yes — Latin Night is a great birthday night out. The built-in salsa lesson gets everyone involved from the start, and the party atmosphere takes care of the rest. If you're bringing 8 or more, RSVP ahead so we can make sure there's space. For a more dedicated birthday experience, check out our Salsa Birthday package at timeoutpa.com/experiences/salsa-birthday.
Can you save space for groups of 10+?
Yes. If you're coming with a large group, use the RSVP form and check the box to request space. We'll know your crew is coming and plan accordingly.
Is Latin Night good for a girls' night out?
It's one of the most popular nights for exactly that. The salsa lesson is built in so there's always something to do right away, the vibe is social and energetic, and you don't have to drive into the city. Groups come out regularly for girls' nights, birthdays, and a reliable Thursday plan.
Does everyone in my group need dance experience?
No — that's the whole point of the lesson. Everyone starts together. Whether you've danced before or have absolutely no idea what you're doing, the lesson gets the whole group moving quickly. No one has to be the expert.
What time should a large group arrive?
Aim for 7:00–7:30 PM if you want to catch the full salsa lesson as a group. Arriving together early also gives you the best chance of getting settled before the floor gets packed.
Can we celebrate a birthday during Latin Night?
Absolutely. Latin Night is always a party atmosphere, which makes it easy to fold in a birthday. If you want something more curated — your own setup, dedicated service, a private feel — our Salsa Birthday Experience is built specifically for that.
